The colours have been oversaturated in the photo.

Yellow sunshine.

Yellow sunshine.

The belfry of the Trinity in Serebryaniki peeps out from behind the yellow building.

As you can probably tell I was more interested in how the sunshine was making the yellow building glow.

Tsaritsyno Museum and Park

Tsaritsyno Museum and Park

Artists hard at work. It was a glorious day for October. Tsaritsyno is a very beautiful cultivated park. It's also a messy metro station. Don't go to Tsaritsyno metro station for a picnic - make sure you go to the park. There are some good restaurants there too.

The white building with the golden dome is The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour - which is mentioned in The Zima Confession.

As Wikipedia says:

Alexander Gardens (Russian: Александровский сад) was one of the first urban public parks in Moscow, Russia. The park comprises three separate gardens, which stretch along all the length of the western Kremlin wall for 865 metres (2,838 ft) between the building of the Moscow Manege and the Kremlin.

The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour (Russian: Храм Христа́ Спаси́теля, tr. Khram Khristá Spasítelya, IPA: [xram xrʲɪˈsta spɐˈsʲitʲɪlʲə]) is a Russian Orthodox cathedral in Moscow, Russia, on the northern bank of the Moskva River, a few hundred metres southwest of the Kremlin.

[Both the Cathedral and Gardens have a very interesting history]
